Last night a group of friends got together and we adventured to the movie theaters. We broke off into two groups and I was in the group that watched “The Danish Girl.” I really enjoyed the movie and would recommend it to a friend. My favorite parts were when they would pan to different scenic areas of Europe and just show off how beautiful this continent is. We ended the night by getting DEESERTS. What a place. The waffles, ice cream, and cookie dough were incredible:

Today we took a tour to Saint Andrews. It was beautiful. It is a little city about two hours away and it was incredible.
Our first stop was at the Kelpies. According to the internet the Kelpies are:
“one of the largest equine sculptures in the world, standing 30 metres (100 feet) tall. They are the landmark feature of The Helix Environmental Regeneration Scheme on the Forth and Clyde Canal near Falkirk on Central Scotland. They are the brain-child of sculptor Andy Scott, and will be the largest public artworks in Scotland.”

They were huge and they were beautiful.
Then we stopped at a bridge called the Fourth Bridge.

The Forth Bridge is a cantilever railway bridge over the Firth of Forth in the east of Scotland, 9 miles west of Edinburgh City Centre. It is considered an iconic structure and a symbol of Scotland, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Then we ended the day at the beautiful city of Saint Andrews. The city is primarily known for its university. It is also the city where Prince William and his lovely wife, Kate met. I was secretly hoping to run into my own Prince Charming, but alas term doesn’t start until next week. We walked around the city, saw the university, climbed into the sea, and I was taught how to play darts by a Scottish man named Scott.

Overall today was a good day. Scotland is gorgeous and I am really excited to do more of these tours.
When we got back to campus it was snowing and life was good.

Until next time,
